THE
MOUSETRAP
POSTER FOR THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE
An academic project which I was
assigned to create during my
studies had to do with choosing
a famous author’s book and
making a poster for a
theatrical performance.
I decided to make a theatrical
poster for one of the most
popular stories of Agatha
Christie , ‘The Mousetrap’.
It’s a very successful murder
mystery play that was first
presented in 1952 and has been
running continuously since
then, making it the longest
running West End show.
The reason why I chose this
play for my project is because
I really admire Agatha
Christie’s work, I believe that
it has some resemblance to my
work given its dark nature and
mystery in combination with
humour.
